Additional information

I contributed 50% as co-author of this book which results from sustained collaboration with Dr Stacey Abbott (The University of Roehampton). This collaboration began at the first international ‘Slayage’ conference (Nashville, 2004). Methodologically, it also developed out of my monograph Sex and the Slayer (2005) and a number of my book chapters on horror television. The underpinning research develops current debates about TV aesthetics, production, technology, consumption, authorship, creativity, genre, history and TV conventions. It has also resulted in further collaborations with Abbott, most notably the major international conference convened at the University of Northampton, ‘TV Fangdom’ (7-8 June 2013).
