This report, published on the Scottish Government website (http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/0038/00389071.pdf), summarises research undertaken to examine technical and policy options for reducing carbon emissions from the Scottish housing stock. This research supported the high level Sustainable Housing Strategy Group (which consists of stakeholders from related governmental, NGOs and industry bodies) with a view to input into the second Scottish Government Report on Proposals and Policies (RPP2). The findings of this report were presented at a Sustainable Housing Strategy Group Meeting on 1 February 2012 and formed the basis for workshop activity in which stakeholders explored and developed policy and technical responses.
