This paper was produced as an output from an EPSRC funded project ‘In-situ Measurement of Moisture Content Profiles within Building Envelopes’ (EP/C002229/1). It was produced as a result of collaborative work with colleagues from The Bartlett School, University College London. Aside from validating the 2 measurement techniques, this work has helped secure wider collaborative research work including an international collaboration as part of an FP7 project ‘Climate for Culture’.
