Additional information
<22>The significance of this paper is that it addressed the key function of manipulating spatial information in the brain: by developing a biologically plausible approach that enables extraction of spatial information from cross-modal integration of visual (retina-centred) and somatic (body-centred) sensory inputs. This work represents the culmination of collaborative research with the UNIC lab (Unit of Neuroscience Information and Complexity) of the CNRS France (National Centre for Scientific Research).
