Additional information

<24>This paper spawned from academic collaborations with Trinity College Dublin (Prof. J. Grimson), combining Prior Domain Knowledge and Data Mining for Biomedical Decision Support, funded by the North-South Research programme (€250K, Higher Education Authority of Ireland) 2004-2007. The work has been taken up for evaluation purposes by Jia Zhu, jiazhu@iist.unu.edu at the United Nations University on a research project “Patients' Physiological Sign Prediction”. It has resulted in partnership with the South-Eastern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland on “Intelligent Analysis of Clinical Data”, and has led directly to the appointment of a Visiting Clinical Professor: Mr Roy Harper.
