Benaissa edited 9 papyri in this volume, which is here submitted as a single output. His editions in this volume formed (with the exception of no. 5119) part of his doctoral thesis. It is common in papyrological scholarship for several editions to be grouped as a single project. Practical considerations and editorial exigencies did not allow for Benaissa’s contributions to be published in a specially dedicated volume. But in terms of page count, they cover half of the present volume, and, in line with the series convention, he is named as lead editor for the volume as a whole.
