This paper introduces a novel technique to predict shear capacity of reinforced concrete corbels. The paper was awarded the “Best of Research and Practice” paper by the ICE as recognition of quality. The research predicts the trend of corbel shear capacity against influencing parameters, compiling the largest database of corbels to date.
