We request that in this submission, the following contributions by Rossi should be taken into consideration: (1) defining the topic and co-convening the two workshops from which the book emanated; (2) co-editing, with A. Haour, the book, Being and Becoming Hausa; (3) co-authoring, with A. Haour, chapter 1 "Hausa identity: language, history and religion" (pp. 1-33); (4) authoring chapter 5, "Being and beconing Hausa in Ader", pp 113-39. Tasks 1-3 were shared 50:50 by Rossi and Haour; Rossi was 100% responsible for chapter 5.
