The method has proved powerful as means of monitoring drug uptake and further developments of the work are now funded within the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Regenerative Medicine (EP/H028277/1) as a means of monitoring stem cell differentiation. We are now working with two companies Reneuron and are Roslin Cells Limited (Paul de Souza CSO, 0131 242 6646) who are involved with the use of neuronal stem cells for novel therapeutics.
