Additional information

<22>Inconsistent and/or conflicting outcomes often result from fuzzy reasoning systems, which seriously restrict the system applicability. This is the first paper to diagnose and repair such problem with the support of model-based diagnostic paradigm. Detailed integral parts and various theoretical extensions of this work have been published in a number of international conferences leading to one of the two Best Paper Awards of the 2010 IEEE International Conferences on Fuzzy Systems (out of 623 submissions worldwide), three IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Outstanding Student Paper Travel Grants from 2009 to 2011, and an invited talk at the FUZZ-IEEE 2011 Tutorials session.
