<19> Packet forwarding attacks are a major threat to Quality of Service (QoS) in mobile ad hoc networks. Previous work has largely addressed the two issues, security and QoS, separately, whereas this paper is significant in addressing the two issues in an integrated manner. The evaluation results have shown that the integrated approach is more effective in achieving QoS in malicious environments.
