Additional information

This paper introduces the first and most systematic approach to the input-to-state stability analysis of hybrid systems with delays. This research led directly to a very competitive NSERC Canada Postdoctoral Fellowship (Award No. PDF-387713-2010, CAD80,000). The importance of hybrid feedback control to real applications, and the inevitability and ubiquity of delays in computation and communication, drove the need to rapidly expand this research contribution, as recognised by the award of an FP7 Marie Curie Grant (Award No. PCIG13-GA-2013-617377, €100,000).
