Additional information

<04> The first work to propose an energy-efficient cross-layer optimised design for next-generation wireless communication systems that reflects key practical considerations: heterogeneous users' quality of service (QoS) requirements, imperfect channel state information, and outage conditions. The novelty of this work lies in combining information theory and advanced queuing theory for modelling of wireless system dynamics, and it makes a significant contribution toward deployment of emerging next-generation green broadband wireless access systems. Published in high-impact journal IEEE TVT (IF 2.063) and already downloaded well over 600 times (IEEE Xplore).
