<07> Culmination of 6 years of work on MATA, an approach for aspect oriented modeling, which is regularly cited as a key work in this area. This paper describes the approach in full detail. MATA papers have been widely cited. The paper overturned the common wisdom in aspect oriented modeling and showed how to unify model transformation and aspect oriented modeling approaches, which was a controversial argument to make at the time.
