Additional information

<07> This paper demonstrates how the diverse design space of MANET protocols, like DYMO, OLSR, etc., can be ‘recovered’ as compositions of fine-grained sub-protocols in a middleware framework. The framework is novel in supporting the simultaneous deployment of multiple protocols in scarcely-resourced embedded environments, and in enabling MANET nodes to switch protocols to optimise to current operating conditions. It won “Best Paper” award at the prestigious IFIP/ACM Middleware Conference in 2009 (single best paper selected from 111 submissions).
