Additional information

This EPSRC project (EP/I034270/1) was instrumental in BRE's strategic move to lead BIM (BuildingSmart UK) based on their long-standing BREEAM experience. The resulting governance model initiated a stream of research (in excess of £950k), including a TSB project (Clouds4Coordination) to deliver a cloud-based BIM governance solution, two EPSRC Case studentships with BRE (scaling up the concept of governance at a district and city level), and a BRE funded project to support the standardisation and delivery of a BuildingSmart specification of the governance model. This also attracted £100k university strategic investment for a BIM visualisation and high performance computing facility.
