This script is an original screenplay co-written by Nicholas Blincoe and Matt Thorne in 2012 based on the 1999 novel by Matt Thorne. The final draft, the shooting script, was by Thorne alone. This script and film were produced for BBC Films and IFeatures. The film premiered in Bristol on 29 March 2012, and the first public screening was at Bath Film Festival on 17 November 2012. It has since been shown at the BFI as part of London UK Film Focus (LUFF) on 27 June 2012, and is due for general release in February 2014. No DVD available at the time of submission to the REF due to copyright issues with SKY.
