Additional information

The paper presents the world’s first open-source water resource system simulator. Published in the highest impact water modelling journal with Prof. D.P. Loucks, the renowned Cornell University founder of the Water Resource Systems field. This paper provides a mechanism for a new international research community to coalesce around the IRAS model – the most computationally efficient flexible water simulator on the market. This landmark paper represents a 2.5 year investment and will allow a new generation of stochastic modelling of water systems under uncertainty – the field’s frontier problem.
