Additional information

This research develops user evolvement of content via a new framework of user-learner profiles for a technology-orientated research audience. Each prototype makes a contribution to understanding modes of learning, situated awareness and authenticity of data using pervasive communications and mobile devices. In presenting the findings to researchers in Museum Studies and Sociology, we have uniquely used research in disaster management and crowd-sourced data to enrich theories of expansive learning. The research presented here has also contributed to ‘New and emerging technology-enabled models of participation through Visitor Generated Content’, (Leicester, 2013), and the ‘Global Conference on Mobility Futures’, (Lancaster, 2013).
