Additional information

<22> The paper has solved the open problem of optimally selecting the set of controlling regions in weighted directed complex networks and shown that the controlling regions are largely dependent on the number of driver nodes and the constraints. These findings have drawn quick research interests from the community since its publication less than one year ago, and should have practical significance in exploring the best way of controlling a complex network.
