Additional information

<9> Published in the top software engineering journal, this work provides a formal framework for evaluating defect prediction research. Amongst other things it demonstrates that a previously highly cited study was flawed and the results are the opposite of those reported. Since March 2011 this work has been explicitly used by many groups e.g., Szszecin University, University of California Santa Cruz, Birmingham University, Florida Atlantic University, University of Hertfordshire and Bogazici University, Istanbul. The paper has received the 3rd highest number of citations among 211 papers published in IEEE TSE since 2011.
