JOINT SUBMISSION STATEMENT: All the volumes of the Survey of London are written collaboratively, although in practice contributions differ in proportion. In this regard, Thom was the editor and primary author of Vol.50 of the Survey of London, while Reid was the main associated researcher on the project and as such contributed a substantial amount of the building entries and background information for this volume. It is Survey of London tradition to cite just one named editor for each of its volumes even though other members of the team worked on that volume, meaning they are not named as co-authors.
