A principal outcome from the paper is a new research grant RG68133 with SELEX GALILEO LTD (April 2013 for 3 years - GBP120k, contact (now with Rolls-Royce): ID_in_audit_file@rolls-royce.com), in which Godsill and his team will develop the variable rate methods of the paper for fusion of heterogeneous tracking data.

The work has already led to several invited talks at conferences, including the SMC 2012 workshop in Warwick Sept. 2012 given by P Bunch and an invited paper for the 16th IFAC Symposium on System Identification 2012.
