Dr Choudhary was invited to present the combined energy and economic modelling framework detailed in this paper at United Technologies Research Corporation (USA) in Feb 2013 (with follow up for future joint collaboration with their newly formed Ireland office). This study was also invited to be presented at the retrofit session of the one day World Summit on Building Simulation at University of Pennsylvania, USA in March 2013, where the incorporation of economics in energy simulation was deemed as an important new dimension for retrofitting buildings.
