This research was part of an EPSRC grant (EP/E028659/1) and spawned a new EPRSC First Grant which is currently underway (EP/I003061/1). It also led to a keynote speech at the International Conference on Emerging Securities Technology (output 3): “Using Photometric Stereo for Face Recognition”, University of Central Lancashire, September 2011. The work was also led to a collaboration with PSG College (Coimbatore, India) and to a subsequent jointly organised conference: International Conference and Exhibition on Biometrics Technology
