Additional information

This paper expands on work presented at the Cyberworlds 2009 conference, and was submitted and published in this journal by invitation following the conference. The system incorporates specialist 3D interactive visualisation facilities available at UCLan. This study assessed the effectiveness of proposed ways of overcoming information overload for healthy subjects. The outcome of this study is to be explored for the rehabilitation of patients with hand motion control difficulties, such as some stroke victims and cerebral palsy patients, in collaboration with Biomechanics Research staff.
