Additional information
<24> This paper describes a middleware for humanoid robotics that provides structure to large scale robotic experiments. This is a solid software architecture which has since then been used worldwide for humanoid robots (e.g. iCub community, 25 robots worldwide at the moment), for navigation and HRI (MIT, CSAIL), to develop surveillance systems (Iceland), and in a number of EU projects including CHRIS, ROBOTCUB and DARWIN to name a few.
