<24> This study used maximum likelihood estimation from very large data sets of human optokinetic nystagmus to test models of distributions of inter-saccadic intervals. It was motivated by a previous theoretical study proposing that decisions are made in the reciprocal time domain. Evidence was strongest for reciprocal time decision-making, and weakest for previous Bayesian models. This result has now led to two new projects on decision-making (decision-making and optimization (QR funding) Irrationality and decision-making (CognNovo Marie Curie).
