Additional information

Published and presented in a highly competitive conference for nickel superalloys, this paper represents a step change in processing of nickel disk alloys in order to tailor the microstructure (coarse and fine grain) of a high pressure turbine disc to meet the differing requirements at the bore and rim of the disc. Presentated at this international conference to provide maximum impact and publicity - has attracted interest and multiple citations from both UK and international researchers in the field. Has become the standard reference in the field for this technology, regularly cited in thesis and text book.
