Additional information
<2> Grid Computing. The work arose from the PhD thesis of Irfan Habib; it demonstrates the feasibility of termination criteria with a multi-objective approach in scientific workflow optimisation. In this paper, the approach is shown to provide both compute and data optimisation. It has been used in neuGRID to improve the throughput of the CIVET workflow in the measurement of brain cortical thicknesses. Although demonstrated only in the context of the neuGRID project (Name & contact available) the principles can be readily adapted across all forms of scientific workflows.
