Additional information

This paper describes collaborative research between international research groups and industrial partner (ERPE, Norwegian University of Science (NTNU) and Statoil) on the phase behaviour of the carbon dioxide – methane system at low temperature. This article presents novel measured thermodynamic data on the CO2–methane system. Technology is being developed to separate carbon dioxide from natural gas by frosting CO2 out from acid streams. Accurate vapour-solid phase equilibrium data in the CO2-methane systems are important in developing such processes. This paper is the first of a fruitful collaboration between ERPE and NTNU.
