Additional information

This paper provides evidence that biochemical and topographic cues can regulate or re-differentiate corneal fibroblasts into the keratocyte lineage. This work was performed with supported from EPSRC CTD (EP/F/500491/1) following on from earlier BBSRC funded studies (BB/F002866/1). The work helped address a clinical opthamology challenge in collaboration with Dr Saaeha Rauz (Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre). This cross-disciplinary training contributed to the PhD award to SL Wilson and her subsequent EPSRC E-TERM landscape fellowship award.
