English abstract
The paper analyses key 19th Century fiscal maps produced by National technicians in 1874. An important product of archival research of the Agency of the Territory in Naples were water-coloured maps, considered lost from the community of scholars. These groups of maps of 36 municipalities around Naples (1:1000; each 55x70 cm), represent not only a fundamental record for the history of the city, but an invaluable source for the urban planning, allowing us to understand the original names of the places, the uses of the space and detailed traces of the past, making available an extraordinary heritage to scholars and practitioners.
