This report was commissioned by the architectural practice Haworth Tompkins and the National Theatre, to contribute to its Conservation Management Plan in 2008. I contributed the extensive report on the history and architecture, which provided the largest contribution to the historical sections, and to 30% of the document as a whole. I also advised on the report as a whole, including assessments of each area of the building complex. The Plan has been adopted by the National Theatre, after consultations with the 20th Century Society and English Heritage.
