Additional information

This is the first time in which the Wavelet Transform has been used to control active power filters with real time waveforms. This is significant because it monitors the power line and sets the filter parameters in real-time, faster than previous methods in order to improve power quality which is set to deteriorate in the future due to the increase use of high power switching semiconductors devices.
