Additional information

Despite their vital influence on employment relationships, employee benefits are an understudied phenomena. To address this issue, this paper presents a review of research on benefits and explains how potential research can be framed to be published in the top journals. Specifically, we explain how benefits can serve as a context to test some of human resource management's most pressing theoretical challenges. Possible research topics and a road-map to approaching those topics are presented.
