Additional information

<01>A reduced number of sensors in the P300 speller brain-computer interface yields greater comfort for the user, decreases installation time, and may reduce substantially the financial cost of the BCI setup. The study was funded by the French National project RoBIK (Robust BCI keyboard). The outcomes of the study provided key parameters for creating a new headset in collaboration with the company DIXI (electrodes) and CEA (amplifier). The methods that were used in this study have been applied for other BCI tasks such as for the Rapid Serial Visual Presentation of images in cognitive neuroscience studies.
