Additional information

This paper arose from an international collaboration that was initiated in 2009, with the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland) where Kolaczkowski is a Visiting Professor. It is also the first paper on the theme of investigating DeNOx catalyst systems, to control NOx emissions from gas engines powered by gas from biomass/waste gasification processes. Although ammonia is used as a reducing agent, the main focus of the collaborative work is on the use of hydrogen from the gas produced.
