This book, based on extensive analysis of over thirty late-medieval manuscripts conducted over several years, makes available first editions of Putsch’s Oraciones and Manuale, and a new and substantially updated edition of his Diarium, last printed in 1892. The exhaustive processes of collection and assessment involved in the editorial work also facilitated the presentation (in the introduction) of a more detailed and nuanced assessment of Putsch’s literary achievement than had been produced by previous research.
