Max-min relay selection for legacy amplify-and-forward systems with interference
This paper was the first to address the impact of co-channel interference in wireless relay communications, where relays forward information from a source terminal to the destination. This work was part of the VCE (www.mobilevce.com) “Delivery Efficiency” programme (£2M) which was joint-funded by EPSRC (EP/D053048/1,EP/D053218/1,EP/D055423/1,EP/D056691/1,EP/D052769/1) and 20 industrial companies. This work formed a key part of the subsequent Mobile VCE/EPSRC £2M Green Radio Programme (EP/G060584/1,EP/G062420/1,EP/G064105/1,EP/G06041X/1). The approach for interference analysis has been adopted by researchers at: INRS Quebec, (DoI:10.1109/TVT.2011.2179818); British Columbia, (DoI:10.1109/TWC.2012.031212.111113); and National University of Singapore, (DoI:10.1109/LCOMM.2010.08.100109).
