Geomorphological evidence for a changing tectonic regime, Pasinler Basin, Turkey
This output was in collaboration with Ataturk University, Turkey, who partly funded the work. The paper followed up a preliminary report presented at the International Association of Geomorphologists 2005 conference. It represents the first use of combined multi-scale Landsat, SRTM and field data in eastern Anatolia and, as such provides a significant step-forward in understanding this understudied region. The findings are of direct relevance to a wide community including those studying natural hazards (e.g. landslides, earthquakes), long term landscape development, modern and ancient hydrology, climate change and archaeology. The journal’s impact factor is 2.583
