Additional information

This research formed part of the Low Carbon Vehicle Technology Project funded £20M jointly by EU and AWM (£1.1M to Coventry University), in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover, MIRA, Ricardo, Tata Motors, Zytek and University of Warwick. This was specifically the work-package Waste Energy Recovery and Alternative Energy Storage, led by Ricardo. The outcome was successful with a laboratory-scaled test rig from Ricardo being installed at the University, and used on a £12.6k SMEE programme with European Thermodynamics Limited, Leicester, where the algorithms have been further developed, forming the bases of new project proposals.
