Significance of output:

This paper proposes an entirely new approach to solving stiff equations in mixed-technology-domain energy harvester systems. The significance of the proposed method lies in its ability to speed up simulation by 100-1000 times, which allows effective performance optimisation of complex harvesters that would otherwise take too long. A theorem on stability and maximum step-size is proposed and formally proved and supported by extensive experimental validation.
