Additional information

The work on the role of tip geometry in gas turbine tip leakage flow was of direct relevance to Siemens Gas Turbines (Lincoln). One of the PhD Students, Krishnababu, was hired by Siemens to continue the development of the technology for new engine programmes. There was also associated consultancy activity between Dawes and Siemens (ID_in_audit_file@Siemens.com).
