Additional information

<08>This paper presents the world’s first metamodel for agent-oriented software engineering (AOSE) that provides a synergistic framework across all other existing AOSE metamodels and with active co-authors from three of the main groups internationally (Australia, Spain and UK). Also provided to the Object Management Group as part of the leading submission for a standard agent-oriented modelling language. The presented metamodel is constructed by a combination of bottom-up and top-down analysis and best practice, and its suitability for supporting modeling language development is demonstrated by evaluating it with respect to several existing methodology-specific metamodels.
