Additional information

<02>The Lyapunov stability criterion is a theoretical technique that has been applied here for the first time experimentally to a NARMAX controller as a means of improving the robot behaviour. This publication is the result of a research stay by Rano at the University of Essex funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education under grant (JC2007-293), and has led to further collaborations with Dr Akanyeti, as reflected by a joint IEEE ICRA paper (Salumae et al, 2012).
