Additional information

<28>This paper has advanced our ability to accurately detect brain activation patterns in fMRI data. This paper, among other papers in the area by the same authors, has led to a successful collaboration with Dr Arun Bokde at Trinity College Dublin in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) research, including funding to scan participants with a mild cognitive impairment and AD, and has strengthened a successful bid to establish a £5.3m functional brain mapping facility at Ulster. Information derived from this approach is being used to enhance the structural and functional plausibility of neural circuit models to investigate neuro-pathological oscillations.
