Theoretical and numerical analysis is developed of interactions between thermal excitations and turbulent vortex structures in superfluid 3He-B. A new effect of partial screening is discovered which may lead to re-interpretation of Andreev scattering experiments used for detection of turbulent structures in superfluids (such experiments are currently being carried out at Lancaster University (Prof. S.N. Fisher, s.fisher@lancaster.ac.uk), and Aalto University in Helsinki (Prof. M. Krusius, mkrusius@neuro.hut.fi)). This research presented in this publication led to a Leverhulme Trust Grant (Visualization of Quantum Turbulence; F/00125/AH; £121k).
