Double-weighted statement

This book provides the editio princeps of sixty-four Jewish Aramaic incantation texts from late-antique Mesopotamia, with accompanying linguistic, textual and historical analyses. A peer reviewed journal article, even a co-authored one, will often contain only one or two texts, so an edition with sixty-four texts represents an especially extensive and complex collection - indeed, this is by far the largest such publication ever. Dr Bhayro's work on this book began in 2008, shortly after his arrival in Exeter. The authors are listed in order of seniority, not extent of contribution.
