Additional information

This paper provided the first results of an analysis of a new technique for performing immunoassays. This inexpensive, highly sensitive technology produces assay results in less than 3 minutes. The measurement technique was patented in 2008 (WO 2008/114025). The commercial importance of this technology has been recognised by the award of a TSB/BBSRC (209148) for the development of the technology for rapid and cost effective detection of endemic zoonoses.
